CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT DEADLINE

Cancellations must be notified to VANDER Apartments in writing. We have a 14-day cancellation and amendment period. Which implicates that shortening of the stay may affect the nightly rate. If the rent for the upcoming stay is prepaid, the following cancellation that exceeds the applicable rent, will be refunded.

PAYMENT

If nothing else is agreed in writing, the total amount for the reservation must be paid within 14 days prior to the arrival date through an online payment link. The payment link will be received by the provided email address. Total amount includes inventory items, such as extra bed, baby cot, parking, etc. 

For reservations over 30 nights, we take monthly prepayments. VANDER Apartments have the rights to cancel bookings that are unpaid in accordance to our payment policy.

AGE LIMIT

You must be over 25 years old to be allowed to check-in. A valid ID must be presented and displayed unsolicited.

DEPOSIT

A deposit of 5000 NOK may be reserved on the check in day. Any deposit paid to VANDER Apartments will be paid back at departure. Costs related to damages or defects in the apartment caused by the tenant, and its visitors, will be deducted from the deposit.

FORCE MAJEURE

Events outside of VANDER Apartments sovereignty, such as fire, lack of supply, water damage, natural disasters etc. gives VANDER Apartments the rights to terminate the agreement without liability.

CHECK IN

Check-ins from 15:00. Check-out before 11:00. You may request an early check-in. Please note that this is never guaranteed. We will do our best to accommodate any requests if availability.

INCLUDED

The price includes government taxes, fees for electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, and cleaning at departure. For reservations over 10 days, we offer weekly cleaning with change of bedsheets and towels.

OPENING HOURS

We are available on email and telephone during limited opening hours. Keys are picked up in our offices, but some cities have contactless check-ins via a key box. The accordingly information that applies to the different areas can be found on our web page and will also be emailed before arrival.

ACCESSIBILITY

We do not have an apartment category that is wheelchair accessible. Some of our apartments do have better floor plans. Please contact us in advance to check the availability of these apartments. Elevators are available in all buildings.

PLEASE NOTE

Extra beds are added for an extra fee per night when the reservation is made for more people than the number of beds. The beds are usually placed in the living area.
We do not offer nor guarantee any specific views.
We have example photos and cannot guarantee a specific apartment. Floor plans may vary within categories.
Parking is available in most cities. It is subject to availability, payable and needs to be booked in advance by email.

GENERAL HOUSE RULES

Tenants are to follow house rules written in the house manual in the apartment. The main points are the following:

VANDER Apartments should be told the correct number of people staying in the apartment.

Booker is responsible for any unsettled bills from the tenants.

For any complaints to be considered, they must be submitted to VANDER Apartment as soon as the tenant is aware of it.

The tenants are responsible for any damage or defects caused to the apartment as a result of negligent or intentional conduct.

The tenants are responsible for keys provided during their stay. The tenants will be charged for damages, losses, or defects in the device of this agreement. We charge 500-3000 NOK for any lost key. Please ask if you want to know what applies to your building/keys.

VANDER Apartments is not responsible for the tenants’ belongings in the apartments.

Do not wear outdoor shoes or other shoes that may harm the floor in the apartment.

All apartments and common areas are non-smoking. Breach of this will be charged a minimum NOK of 3000.

No pets are allowed in the apartment unless special agreements have been made with the VANDER Apartments.

It should be quiet in the building between 23:00 and 8:00. Do not use the washing machine or listen to loud music after 23:00.

The apartment is not to be used for events or parties.

Turn off or unplug electric equipment when you are not using it.

The tenant is responsible for familiarizing himself/herself with the fire alarm system in the building and how to turn off a false alarm. The cost for triggering a false alarm will be billed to the tenant.

Keep your door locked, and windows shut when you are not at home.

The tenant is expected to keep the apartment tidy and remove garbage according to instructions in the apartments. Contact VANDER Apartments if information is missing.

At departure, we ask for dishes to be placed in the dishwasher and the machine started, as well as the garbage to be disposed.

If tenant commit material breach of this agreement, Norwegian laws or our house rules, VANDER Apartments will terminate the contract and the tenant is obliged to move out of the apartment. Any activity by tenants supporting criminal actions from third parties will be considered likewise. Already paid rent will not be refunded.
