Verksgata 54 in Stavanger is being transformed into a 57-room apartment hotel through refurbishment and expansion of the historic structure. The development preserves key architectural qualities while adapting the building to modern operational and sustainability standards.
The project converts a historic property in central Stavanger into a contemporary apartment hotel. Upon completion, the building will comprise approximately 3,000 square metres and 57 units operated by Vander.
Verksgata 54 forms part of the wider renewal of eastern Stavanger, where Smedvig Eiendom has been active for several years. The property is located close to Pedersgata in an area undergoing significant urban development.
The development involves refurbishment and expansion of the existing structure while preserving defining architectural elements. The building is being upgraded to meet contemporary requirements for energy performance, functionality, and long-term use as a serviced apartment property.
Once completed, Verksgata 54 will deliver a centrally located apartment hotel aligned with evolving urban travel patterns. The project supports Vander’s continued focus on operating apartment hotels in prime city locations through partnerships with developers and property owners.
