We’ve come a long way since Bjørvika Apartments and Sky Hotel Apartments were founded in 2009. In 2022 we established a new brand identity with a lot of love and inspiration to the "Direction North" design concept.

Our new look and feel reflects our evolution over the past 13 years, and it doesn't stop here. We can't wait to grow and expand even more.

We are now VANDER.

VANDER currently operates a portfolio more than 700 units in Norway and Sweden, with another 250 new units on the way. Back in 2009, Vander which then was Bjørvika Apartments started with the purchase of three apartments which were rented out to artists who came to Norway for productions in the country's largest cultural arenas.  Since then, the company has grown organically by approx. 25% annually. The company currently has over 80 employees, which consists of cleaners, administration, caretakers and several other functions held internally.

Our biggest growth was in 2021, when Sky Hotel Apartments and Bjørvika Apartments became one. We enhance our offer by opening new accommodation and by refining what we already have, to meet the demands of the market. Together with the guests and staff we can grow, continue to develop our operations, and offer a second home to lots of visitors.

Vander aims for 4-star quality in its operations. Nevertheless, Vander has its own employees to specially build furniture and other elements in the apartments to ensure that design, comfort and function are delivered to a very high standard.
