Vander has entered a strategic partnership with Pedersgata Utvikling and Smedvig Eiendom to develop around 100 new serviced apartment units in the Pedersgata area of Stavanger.
Vander has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Pedersgata Utvikling and Smedvig Eiendom to support the continued development of the Pedersgata district in Stavanger.
The goal of the collaboration is to contribute to a more vibrant urban area while establishing a sustainable accommodation offering connected to the local neighbourhood.
As part of the agreement, the partners aim to develop approximately 100 new serviced apartment units in the Pedersgata and Verksgata area. The development will strengthen the connection between Vander’s guests and the district’s restaurants, shops and local services.
“Many of our guests prefer to explore local restaurants or bring food back to their apartments. By avoiding traditional breakfast buffets, we support nearby businesses while giving guests more flexibility.”
— Ole Henrik Engen, Vander
Pedersgata has developed into one of Norway’s most dynamic food destinations in recent years. The new collaboration aims to strengthen this development while supporting sustainable tourism and local value creation.
The planned units will provide regulated accommodation capacity and may help reduce pressure on the housing market caused by short-term rental platforms.
