Vander has opened a new apartment hotel with 71 units in Norrköping’s Inner Harbour. The launch reflects growing demand for flexible, apartment-style stays among both business travellers and tourists.
The property is located in the Inner Harbour district of Norrköping and offers 71 newly built apartments ranging from studios to four-room units. Guests also have access to shared amenities including a rooftop terrace, gym and upcoming playroom.
“We believe people appreciate getting closer to everyday life in a new city rather than only feeling like tourists.”
— Fabian Landström, Vander
The opening marks Vander’s expansion into Norrköping through an agreement with Mannersons Fastigheter, owner of the Gamla Varvet property where the apartments are located. The agreement is long-term with no fixed end date.
Typical guests are corporate clients working temporarily in the city, while leisure travellers and families also represent a growing segment.
“We see this as a long-term commitment and believe strongly in the Inner Harbour area.”
— Fabian Landström, Vander
Demand for apartment-style accommodation continues to grow across Sweden, with private apartments among the fastest-growing segments according to recent industry data.
The new property strengthens Norrköping’s accommodation offering and contributes to the continued development of the Inner Harbour as a mixed-use district.
