Vander to operate new apartment hotel at Verksgata 54

Smedvig Eiendom is transforming the historic property at Verksgata 54 in Stavanger into a 57-room apartment hotel. Vander will operate the building upon completion, further strengthening its presence in the city.

Historic charm meets modern comfort

The historic property at Verksgata 54 in Stavanger is being transformed into a new apartment hotel through refurbishment and expansion of the existing structure. 

The completed development will comprise approximately 3,000 square metres and 57 rooms. The project preserves key architectural qualities while adapting the building to contemporary standards for sustainable energy consumption and functionality.

Project context

The project forms part of the wider renewal of eastern Stavanger, where Smedvig Eiendom has been active for several years. Verksgata 54 sits close to Pedersgata within an area undergoing substantial urban development. 

The development supports Vander’s continued focus on operating apartment hotels in central urban locations through partnerships with developers and property owners.

By designing our own furniture, we make the most of every square meter. Our apartments are carefully planned for optimal space efficiency, inspired by the serenity of the beautiful Scandinavian nature.
