Malmö City
Sky Hotel Apartments, part of Vander group, takes over the operations of Malmö City on 15 May 2026. The property is located at Kaptensgatan 1 in central Malmö and currently features 243 hotel apartment rooms.
Following a full renovation in 2026 and 2027, the property will be rebranded under the Vander name.

This May, we opened our brand-new apartment hotel at Skeppskajen – right in the heart of Inre Hamnen! In this prime waterfront location, just a short walk from both the current and future cental station, we offer 71 fully equipped apartments – perfect for both short- and long-term stays.

How it all started
Bjørvika Apartments was founded in 2009 in Oslo, and in 2020 we expanded by acquiring the Swedish hotel apartment brand - Sky Hotel Apartments.
In 2022, we introduced a new brand identity – VANDER – created with a lot of love and inspired by the Direction North design concept.
Since then, we’ve continued to grow by joining forces with The Apartments Company and Frogner House in Stavanger as well.
Today, Vander is proud to be one of the largest apartment hotel chains in Scandinavia!
